CST TESTING

CST testing is when your down to the last 1 month of school & have the last few tests in your class subjects. Its like your exit ticket to leave middle school, & your entrance ticket to high school. Depending on how well you do on the CST will depend on what high school will accept you or not. Y0u take this test because it's supposed to reflect on everything you have learned over the last year in all your subjects. In the 6-7th grade theres only 2 CSTs (it's for math and english). In the 8th grade it's more challenging because you have 4 CST's, & history requires the most studying since it has topics from everything you learned from the last 3 years. Your results come up over summer vacation. As for me I struggle so instead of waisting time sudying for hours when the next day fogeting everything I go outside, relax, & study where its quiet. CST tesing is also a time to show if you've messed around or not. Some people don't mess around & do focus in class, but the problem is some people arn't great test takers. One reason was because people who do take the test may struggle reading the the text (understanding what the question is asking), or it could be the lack of studying, or a proper breakfast. The results can relfect the us, "the students" because some of us do mess around & by the time CSTs do come they wont know what to do, but on the other hand there's students who do know what to do keep their focus in class but arn't good test takers so they fail. The best part about the CSTs is that they dont always look at your score, they also look at your final report card, if your CSTs are low but your grades are good, then you have a good chance as someone who did pass the CST.
