A stage Adaptation is where you change the version of a book into a way for it to be preformed in a play such as "The Dairy of Anne Frank." The play begins in 1945 when Mr. Frank comes back from being a prisoner of the Germans. what happens is that he's trying to hold in all of his emotions and not start to cry. eventually when he sees that everyone in this family is dead, so when he finds a glove in the old building he and his family were hiding in. right then and there he looses control and begins to cry. then he starts to remember what happened when they were still hiding after he also finds Annes diary. thats why it starts at 1945 and scene #1.
